This Privacy Policy has been created in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) by Yoggi Beauty Pty Ltd, ABN: 44 672 971 998 (we, us, our), to provide you with information on how we collect, hold, use, disclose, and otherwise process the personal information that you provide us with when using our sites.  

Whilst we will comply with our Privacy Policy in respect of personal information provided to us by persons under the age of 18 years, such persons must obtain the consent of a parent or guardian prior to providing their personal information to us or using our sites, and their parent or guardian will be responsible for appropriately supervising their use of our sites.

• You make a purchase on our website (customer data): We collect your name, contact details, order details and payment details

• You provide us with feedback or make an enquiry with us, electronically, over the phone or in person (communication data): We collect your name, contact details and details you provide us in your feedback or enquiry

• You connect with us on social media, such as Facebook or Instagram (communication data): We collect your contact details and any details you may submit to us via such social media pages

• You complete a survey for us or enter a competition that we run (marketing data): We collect your name, contact details and any other information you provide to us

• You join our mailing list to receive information for things like special offers or new products (marketing data & sensitive data): We collect your name, contact details, gender and age

 

Why we Collect Personal Information

We will not collect personal information from you unless it is reasonably necessary for or directly related to one or more of our functions or activities.  The personal information we collect helps us to:

To the extent that the laws and rights of these countries are not equivalent to the laws of Australia, you agree to be bound by the laws and rights of the relevant extraterritorial jurisdiction.

De-Identified Information: We may de-identify your personal information so that it cannot be used to identify you.  We may disclose de-identified information to third-parties for any purpose we choose, including for their commercial, marketing, research and promotional purposes. 

 

How we Collect Personal Information

We will generally collect personal information about you directly through our sites, any related mobile apps, by way of correspondence with you, telephone calls or meetings with you.  We may also automatically collect certain personal information from you as you use our sites using cookies and similar technologies.

Note that if we disclose personal information to third party social media sites and publishers, it may be stored by social media providers and publishers on their systems.

 

Direct Marketing

By providing us with your personal information, you agree that we may periodically send you promotional information about new products, promotions, competitions, special offers or information which we think you may find interesting using the email address, telephone number or address which you provided to us.  

We may also use your personal information to contact you for market research.

You can opt out of receiving marketing material from us or being contacted by us for market research at any time, by contacting us at yoggibeauty.au@gmail.com, after which we will endeavour to action your request within a reasonable time, generally within 10 business days of receiving your request.

We are committed to keeping your personal information secure and use reasonable endeavours to keep your personal information in a secure environment to protect it from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

You have a right to access the personal information we hold about you, subject to any exemptions under the Privacy Act.  You may request access to personal information we hold about you by contacting us at yoggibeauty.au@gmail.com.  We will respond to your request within a reasonable time and will require you to verify your identity before any personal information we hold about you will be provided to you.  If your request is particularly complex or requires a detailed search of our records, we may charge a reasonable fee for providing that personal information to you.

We take reasonable steps to ensure that the personal information held by us is accurate and current, but if your personal information changes or you believe that the personal information held by us is not accurate or current, please contact us at yoggibeauty.au@gmail.com and we will endeavour to take reasonable steps to correct it within 14 days.

 

Enquiries and Complaints

If you wish to access or update your personal information, or you believe your privacy has been breached and wish to make a complaint, please contact us at yoggibeauty.au@gmail.com and we will endeavour to respond to your request within a reasonable time, generally within 30 days, however we may ask you for further information in order to provide a complete response.

If you are not satisfied with the outcome of your complaint, or you do not receive a response to your complaint within 30 days, you may make a complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (https://www.oaic.gov.au/).
